EvaCore for builders
Upload your bill of quantities or drawings and Eva pulls out every line and estimates each one with a range and its sources. Then you send the tender to contractors and compare their offers line by line, with odd prices flagged.
Log in is for accounts that already exist. Tenders are not open for self sign-up yet, so request to join and our team will contact you.
What Eva does in your tender
Upload the files
A bill of quantities as Excel or PDF, or drawings as PDF or images. DWG files are accepted as files but not read, so we ask for a PDF export.
Pull out every line
Reference, section, description, unit and quantity, in Arabic and English. Drawings with no bill give you a scope list marked as needing a quantity take-off.
Estimate each line
Every line gets a low, middle and high range with the source of the figure and a confidence level. Lines with no data are clearly marked, and the tender total is shown as a range.
Compare the offers
Contractors' offers sit in one table, line by line, with the median of each line and each offer's total against Eva's estimate.
From tender to comparison
One tender takes up to 20 files of 50 MB each, and up to 300 pages. Anything above that goes through our team.
Create the tender
Project name, city and scope, then upload the files.
Review the lines
The extracted lines appear in a table and you correct any quantity or unit yourself.
Review the estimate
Edit the rate or quantity on any line. Your edit is kept next to Eva's value and does not replace it.
Send to contractors
Invite the contractors you choose. Each one fills in the price grid on their phone or uploads the priced Excel file.
Compare and award
Compare the offers line by line and pick one. Offers stay sealed and nobody sees them before the due date.
Offers that reached you outside the platform can be added too: upload each contractor's Excel file and its lines are matched by reference into the same comparison.
What the comparison flags
Every flag is worked out from the offers' own numbers and sits beside the line it belongs to.
An odd price
A line far from the median of the offers, or more than 35% above or below it when there are fewer than four offers.
A missing line
A line in the tender that the contractor did not price.
Arithmetic that does not match
Quantity times unit rate does not equal the line amount by more than 1 SAR.
Front loading
The first sections sit well above the median while the last sections sit well below it.
Total against the estimate
Each offer's total is set against Eva's estimate range for the same tender.
A summary from the numbers only
Eva writes a one page summary from these computed facts and never states a number that is not among them.
Who it is for
Consultants
A reference estimate before the offers arrive, and a ready comparison after.
Architecture firms
See a rough cost while you are still drawing, and prepare a bill of quantities for contractors.
Developers
Compare contractors' offers on your project line by line and see where the gap is.
Contractors
Receive the price grid on your phone and send your offer, checking your lines before you submit.
Frequently asked questions
- Which files can Eva read?
- Excel, PDF and images. A PDF with no text layer is read page by page by sight. DWG files are not read, so we ask for a PDF export.
- Does Eva work out quantities from drawings?
- No. From drawings alone you get a scope list marked as needing a quantity take-off. Quantities come from the bill of quantities.
- Where do the estimated figures come from?
- Every figure shows its source and confidence beside it. When a line has no data, Eva marks it instead of guessing a number.
- Do contractors see each other's offers?
- No. Offers are sealed, and you do not see them either before the tender's due date.
- Can I change Eva's estimate?
- Yes. Edit the rate or quantity and your edit is kept next to Eva's value.
- How do I start?
